Her Family -

Cindy married Michael McFadden in 2006 and moved to the farm outside Randalia.  Being a city girl, it took a bit of adjusting but now she loves it.  She has two children, Jessica Brownell (married to Tyler) and James Gibbons. She has two dogs, Brownie and Blackie and two cats, Skittles and Nubs, this is the extent of their livestock.

Employment -

Cindy had worked as a school librarian for St.John/St.Nicholas Schools in Waterloo for two years until the school closed. Before coming to the Hawkeye Library, she worked at the Allen Surgery Center in Waterloo for 7 years.  Cindy has been the Library Director at the Hawkeye Public Library since March, 2009.

Hobbies -

She enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her kids.
